Do I need equipment for the workouts?
No, equipment is completely optional! All of Raven’s workouts are designed to be effective whether you choose to use equipment or not. However, if you’re ready to take your workouts to the next level and add some variety, consider incorporating any of the following:
- Heavy Weights: 8-10 lbs or more
- Light Weights: 1-5 lbs
- Resistance Band: also called a booty band or small mini loop resistance band
- Gliders: Perfect for sliding movements (or use paper plates or washcloths as a budget-friendly alternative depending on your floors)
- Small Pilates Ball: Ideal for core work and adding balance challenges. About 9 inches in diameter
- Magic circle: also called a Pilates ring! My personal fav.
Each piece of equipment can enhance your workout experience, but you’ll still feel the burn and see results even without them!

Are the workouts safe if I'm pregnant?
Yes! Pilates can be a wonderful way to stay active during pregnancy, helping to build strength, improve posture, and ease tension. That said, every pregnancy is unique. Always consult your doctor, listen to your body and modify movements as needed.
While periodically we offer pregnancy safe modifications in live classes, we now offer the brand NEW Glow & Grow: 7 Day Pregnancy Safe Pilates Program designed for the busy, expecting woman who wants to keep up her active lifestyle while prioritizing her health and well-being. The program focuses on building long, lean lines, strengthening core muscles, and adding a boost of cardio for a full-body workout, Pilates Body style.

How do I cancel my membership?
We’re sad to see you go, but canceling your membership is simple! Here’s how:
- Click on Account Settings (you’ll find the button under the JOIN tab).
- Select ACCOUNT from the menu.
- Go to ACTIVE PACKAGES and locate your membership package.
- Click the three dots on the right-hand side of your package and select CANCEL.
That’s it! Your membership will be canceled. If you have any issues, feel free to reach out to us—we’re here to help!

I’m new to pilates! Am I still able to participate?
Absolutely! No matter your Pilates skill level—beginner, intermediate, or advanced—you’re welcome to join any challenge or class. Raven designs every class to be inclusive and accessible for ALL. Throughout each session, she offers modifications to help you adjust movements to suit your needs, whether you’re just starting out, working around a health concern, or simply looking to move at your own pace. The goal is to make you feel strong, confident, and empowered, no matter where you’re starting from!

Can I pause my membership?
Yes, you can! Life happens, and we totally get it. If you need to pause your membership, just send an email to [email protected] and let us know. No personal information is required for this process—just a quick note that you’d like to pause your account.
When you’re ready to get back on the mat and rejoin Pilates Body by Raven, simply email us again, and we’ll reactivate your membership. We’ll be here to welcome you back with open arms (and a killer workout)! 💪

Can I cast the videos/ livestream from my phone to my tv?
Casting your workout videos is super easy! When you start a video, just tap the Cast button at the top of your screen. From there, you can use AirPlay to stream the workout to the device of your choice. Whether it’s your TV or another screen, you’ll have Raven right there with you, leading the way!

- Clear your browser cache: This can solve many playback issues. On Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data. On Safari: Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Update your browser: Make sure you’re using the latest version.
